I thought about writing something along the lines of how punk was hijacked, how the record industry took advantage of it after the initial shock etc etc. However you know all that, plus an awful lot of the so called 'punk' bands were just months earlier wannabee prog rockers, or off of the 'chicken in a basket circuit' in the UK.
With hindsight, some of the bands from CBGB's in New York, had more street credibility, and certainly more 'roar' energy.
That said, the Pistols did unsettle the musical establishment, media, and for a short while, middle England, busy as ever mowing their lawns.
So here's one of the best live concerts they ever performed, ironically the last ever.
This copy is fresh, clean, and remastered to a very high standard. Enjoy.
